After searching tirelessly for a way to unlock my mobile phone on the internet (for free), I have come to find that the best place to get your phone unlocked from is the network your mobile phone is locked to.

My K800i is on Vodafone but I bought it to use on the orange network. It may seem silly to buy a phone locked to one network to use on another but when it’s almost £100 cheaper it starts to make more sense.

Everywhere I looked on/offline everyone seemed to charge between £35 - £50 to unlock the phone which in my opinion is crazy.

One other reason why you should get it unlocked from the network operator is because you do not lose your warranty if they do it.

Vodafone charged me £19.99 and gave me the unlock code instantly.
